Michael and Karla Lyndaker both grew up in Upstate New York, where serving others has always been at the center of their lives. After they got married, they moved to Carthage, New York together. Before entering full-time ministry, Mike co-owned a poultry farm for 13 years and Karla worked as a secretary for 17 years in a Radiology office and then a public school. Alongside their careers, they served faithfully as youth leaders for six years.Â
In 2022, God called them into ministry and they joined Church Mobilization, a department of U.S. Missions, as Missionary Associates. They then became licensed ministers with the Assemblies of God in 2024. In 2025, they moved to Belton, South Carolina, with a heart to plant Growth Point Church where people can encounter the love of God, experience freedom in Christ, and grow together in community.
Michael and Karla are passionate about seeing individuals, marriages, and families healthy and whole, how God intended. They are also advocates for foster care and adoption. Their vision is to build relationships, walk alongside people, grow together in Christ, and get to know and understand Who God is.
